I love to cook and eat. Food is one of my great passions. And that is exactly how I became the “big” Pilates Teacher.
I became riddled with self loathing. I was always telling myself and others that I was fat. Now lets be honest that was never true. I was just bigger than I wanted to be. I was not comfortable in my skin and I was having trouble doing things that were once easy. Then one day I decided to take a stand and start Weight Watchers. My in-laws were shrinking before my eyes and my husband and I were inspired by their success.
Now I love my body and I am learning to eat well and still stay on Weight Watchers. I have an in-between food philosophy. I shop the farmers market and eat organic whenever possible but I also allow myself craptastic treats. I try to be reasonable about the amount of processed foods I eat but I don’t go crazy. I want my food to taste good, nourish my body, and fit in my Weight Watchers Points.
